Last week Moby announced that he will be selling over 200 items from his extensive analog drum machine collection via reputable online gear and record marketplace, Reverb, and all proceeds will go to The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (read about it here).

In anticipation of the sale, which will appear on the Official Moby Reverb Shop on October 11, Reverb have now released a documentary outlining the history of the drum machine using pieces from Moby’s impressive collection.

The documentary follows Moby and host William Kurk as they explain the history and lineage of the drum machine, as well as the influence of these instruments on contemporary music and rhythm.
