NEWS: PVT Release New Track Available to Stream

PVT (formerly Pivot) have a new track available to stream, following a three year hiatus. The Australian electro-rock group are set to release their fifth album ‘New Spirit’ in February next year. It is succeeding their first single Morning Mist, Rock Island Bend, a nine minute E.P. available to stream now.

“We thought releasing a nine-minute song would be kind of confrontational in some ways,” the group say of the new song.

“I think this track is the spiritual centre-piece of the record and it’s a song that’s kind of directly about the environment but touches on this idea of identity. We’ve always felt like as Australians the environment has a really strong connection to the Australian spirit, the Australian psyche, the Australian identity – whatever you want to call it.”

They are set to perform in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne early next year following the release of the record. New Spirit will be released on 17th February 2017. Check out PVT’s upcoming tour dates, below.
