Dolores O’Riordan, The Cranberries vocalist dies at 46

Influential Irish rock band The Cranberries’ vocalist Dolores O’Riordan has reportedly passed away.

On Monday, the 15th of January 2018, Dolores O’Riordan passed away at age 46. Although no details on cause have been revealed, according to a statement from her publicist, she was “in London for a short recording session”, following 2016’s Something Else with plans for an upcoming release.

Mourning their vocalists passing, The Cranberries released an official statement, commenting: “We are devastated on the passing of our friend Dolores. She was an extraordinary talent and we feel very privileged to have been part of her life from 1989 when we started the Cranberries. The world has lost a true artist today.”
