Boys Noize and Baauer drop free track ‘Fire Like This’

Legendary German producer Boys Noize has teamed up with ‘Harlem Shake’ creator Baauer to produce their first collaborative effort ‘Fire Like This’. The track has been released as a free download ahead of the pair’s upcoming Run X tour of the States, which will run throughout October.

Boys Noize had been experimenting with trap sounds in his solo production work before announcing last year that he was heading into the studio with the Baauer, who is very much a trailblazer within the increasingly popular genre.

With its big kit sounds, schoolyard chants and heavy drops, ‘Fire Like This’ sounds closer to Baauer’s previous work than that of Boys Noize, and it will be interesting to see how fans of the German’s react to this new direction.
