Björk Makes Surprise DJ Appearance At London Club

At a party at London’s Corsica Club last night, the third of Hyperdub’s monthly residency called Ø, clubbers were treated to a surprise guest DJ appearance by Björk. FACT magazine reports that the Icelandic musician played a set comprised of a “mixture of musique concrète, bass and R’N’B-inspired tracks, including a track by Tri Angle artist serpentwithfeet.”

The event, which was originally only billed as featuring a DJ set by visual artist Jesse Kanda (under the name Doon Kanda), also included special guest appearances by Shannen SP, Mica Levi and Arca.

Jesse Kanda has previously collaborated with Arca and Björk on visual projects, including album covers for both artists.
