Attendance to Flux Pavilion’s EP Launch Party was an exclusive affair, open to competition winners only. But for those unlucky entrants, Flux ensured all who wanted to see the show could, by filming and streaming the footage live on Youtube to the world.
He opened with new track “The Scientist” from his latest EP, where he unexpectedly performed live vocals. This new track went down a treat and Flux’s use of lasers, smoke machines and visual effects were perfectly in sync with the music, aiding the electric atmosphere right from the start.
The crowd was teased to live snippets of “Bass Cannon” before the killer hit was dropped. Flux did a fantastic job of mixing a variety of dubstep, trap and even a little bit of hardcore amongst club favourites “I can’t stop”, DJ Fresh’s “Louder” and Freestylers “Cracks”.
Flux Pavilion promised special guests, and the crowd weren't disappointed when Sway and P. Money took to the stage. Example also made an appearance to perform the joint hit ‘Daydreamer” to produce smiles all round. It was noticeable the crowd started to get a bit tired, dripping with sweat towards the end from all the dancing. But they managed to find that last spark of energy from within to lose it to his latest single “Blow The Roof”.
All in all, Flux Pavilion should be really proud as his launch night was a huge success and The Playground definitely recommends his new EP, 'Blow The Roof'.
