Now that we've all agreed that Ben Affleck isn't a cringer anymore following the monumental success that wasArgo and of course that BAFTA speech that was all humbling and sincere, the release of his new film To the Wonder couldn't be better timed. Get all the mumbo jumbo of the Academy Awards out the way to clear the field ready for this whopper of a movie and watch the fans swoon. It's directed by unbearably brilliant director Terrence Malick whose meticulous style means we haven't seen him for an entire two years- which is actually hilariously fast by Malick's standards. It's sure to be sending ripples through the film world come April. Though released back in December, the trailers have been totting up the hit machine since the BAFTAs and we understand why. Is the time really come where we can admit to love for Ben Affleck? We think so...
