One of the names looking for big things in 2013 are the UK’s own bass-house aficionados Kry Wolf. Although the pair have been working the scene for quite a few years, last year saw them launch their own label Food Music alongside fellow producer Shadow Child, and has since seen the couple grow into a much more familiar name amongst the clubbing masses.
Although now on their own imprint, Kry Wolf have already released an extensive back catalogues of tracks through Sounds Of Sumo since 2011. In this time they’ve racked up a number of high-profile remixes for acts such as Reset!, Kill Light and Lady Gaga, with a new remix for Herve currently in the work, as well as a collaboration with house legend Claude VonStroke on the single ‘Turbosteppa’. This collaboration gave Kry Wolf an instant global audience that has since seen their music make it into the sets of Zinc, Mary Anne Hobbs, A-Trak, Sub Focus, Mosca, AC Slater, Dave Spoon, Lil Silva and Roska to name but a few.
But with a third trip to Bestival recently announced, and the pair touring extensively across the UK over the next few months, it seems like Kry Wolf are only just getting warmed up.
