Craig Green AW 13 collectionCraig Green presents his AW 13 collection with a catwalk show as part of Topman and Fashion East's MAN initiative.
Playing with his obsession surrounding the interaction between light and dark, Green's collection is made up of a series of looks, some of which seem almost disembodied through their large face coverings and sculptures.
Both light and dark forms create strong images, but the simplicity allows the focus to always remain on the beauty of the pieces.
Hand painted stripes are the collections only real pattern, and subtle layering between cottons, satin and lamb's wool adds another dimension to the pieces.
Craig Green graduated from Central Saint Martins in February 2012 where he completed his MA. His graduate collection won him the L’Oréal Professionnel Creative Award and he’s has collaborated in various projects with Bally, New Era and ADIDAS, while he created a series of headpieces for Christopher Shannon's SS|12 and SS|13 collections.
The London collections: Men AW13 was held from Monday 7th – Wednesday 9th January 2013 to promote the world's most innovative emerging talent, as well as global menswear brands and Savile Row tailors.
